We are committed in the development of Christian doctrine and Christian life-style for our children. Thus each child of Bring up a child ministry have the opportunity to:
a. Develop a growing knowledge and trust of the Triune God through the study of Holy Scriptures in bible clubs, devotions, Sunday school, and singing Christian music and hymns
b. Develop an increased ability to apply God’s Word to their lives as active members of the body of Christ
c. Experience a desire to gain the blessings of regular Christian worship, prayer,
d. Cultivate the spiritual, mental, social, emotional, and physical powers needed to function effectively in relation to God, fellowmen, and all of God’s creation
e. Realize that his whole life is to be used to praise, glorify, and please God.
f. Provide a complete, unified education, health, nutrition for each child. We help each child develop not only with education support, but spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Work through the Church
We do all of our work through partnerships with international and local churches around the world.
Local churches spurs for community change, optimizing the mutual respect, resources and common purpose critical in caring for children in poverty.
We work in partnership with local churches because we desire to equip the Church to fulfill its role as salt and light to the world.
A local church is best suited to address the needs of the children in its community because the church is already located in and involved in the community. Only the local church can effectively deliver the Jesus-based teaching and Christian life that children in poverty deserve.
It is our honor to walk alongside local churches as they share the love of Jesus in their neighborhoods. We trust the Church’s ability to create an environment of unparalleled stability where children experience God’s love and acceptance in tangible ways.
