The church building was raised long ago with the help of devoted Christians, but its construction came to a standstill because of a lack of finances. For 17 years, the Church was left with only a roof. It had no plaster/cement, no doors or windows.

But that is no more. The Church now stands finished. And this is because the unfinished project was later revived and completed when our partner friends joined hands to complete and furnish Nakavule Lutheran Church. The Church is now a beautiful sight, with painted walls, windows, doors, glasses, flooring, and shutters with a sitting capacity of 500 people.

Upon its completion, Nakavule Lutheran Church is in a position to serve all its intended purposes, including but not limited to preaching the word of God to the surrounding communities, enriching Christians’ souls, strengthening family life, and Sunday school activities that support children’s talents.

 During weekdays, the Church serves as a classroom for kindergarten kids. There has been a tremendous increase in children interested in learning, so the school could not accommodate all of them, and the Church was the next alternative to support children learning.
